I’ve been hired as an Executive Vice President of Acquisitions for the theatrical distribution company 41 Inc. This is my second week on the job, and I must say, it rocks! I am responsible for researching production companies and sales agents for potential films to distribute, working out the deals, marketing the films, and then getting the films in theaters and stores.

I wrote, produced, and directed a Klondike Bar commercial for the current “What would you do for a Klondike Bar?” contest. The commercial stars Max Schneller as the only man left alive in a wasteland that is earth and Dan Lippert plays a killer zombie who tries to lure Max to him with a Klondike Bar…of course Max cannot resist the chocolatey ice creamy goodness! Check it out below, and please go to the website HERE,search for my video, and rate it a 5! You will find it if you type “alexgarciaonline” into the search bar. You have to register to rate the video, but when you register you automatically get a chance to win $25,000…not bad, not bad. Thanks!

Hello all! I have been selected to act in a pitch pilot for an MTV sitcom. I will give you more details when they come, but I am looking forward to shooting it. The producers and director are really cool, and are allowing me to make the character my own–pretty much giving me free range to improv whenever I want. Can’t beat that! Ai luv eeeeet.

I was cast in an episode of “Call 911″, a non-fiction show on the Investigation Discovery Network–a branch of the Discovery Channel. The show began on Court TV and has since been picked up by the ID Network. I play Dave, the husband to a pregnant woman who goes into labor in the middle of the night. My character calls 911 and is coached by the operator in order to deliver the baby with the help of his neighbor. Look for it!
